La Picoutine, Rosé 2023

La Picoutine works in southern France, often with Cinsault and other Mediterranean varietals, favouring light, easy-drinking wines with a free-spirited Mediterranean vibe. Their aim: wines that reflect the warmth of the region and offer freshness and simplicity at good value. 100% Cinsault. Soft salmon-pink in the glass. On the nose: red berry, strawberry and raspberry,with a hint of white pepper and Mediterranean herb. The palate shows bright red-fruit notes, a touch of citrus zest and a refreshing, light acidity. Light to medium-bodied, with a dry, clean finish; perfect chilled as a summer rosé or with grilled fish, tapas or light salads.
